Welcome to the Becky Smith State Farm Agency, where we take pride in serving the residents of Gettysburg, Biglerville, and the surrounding areas of Adams County. With over 30 years of experience as a State Farm agent, I opened my first agency in October 1988 and have been dedicated to providing exceptional service ever since.

At our agency, we offer car insurance, renters and home insurance, life insurance, business insurance, and more, including financial services. Our goal is to help you plan for the future and protect what matters most to you. We believe in listening to our customers and empowering them to personalize their coverage based on their unique needs. Honesty and informed decision-making are values we hold dear, and our customers rely on us to provide advice.

As a Pennsylvania native, I have deep roots in the community. I was born in Perry County, graduated from West Perry High School, and earned my bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University and my master's degree from Penn State University. Since 1992, I have called Adams County home. Family is incredibly important to me, and I am happily married with two stepchildren and two grandchildren. Together, we enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring our favorite vacation spots in Colorado, Florida, and Bethany Beach. I also find joy in gardening, tackling DIY projects around the house, and taking care of my yard.

Giving back to the community is a core value of mine. I have actively participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and fundraisers in the fight against MD. In addition, I volunteer for the local safety board, Junior Achievement financial workshops, and a scout troop. I have also had the opportunity to coach at Biglerville and establish a youth hockey program called "Wee Whackers." Making a positive impact, especially when it comes to children, is incredibly rewarding to me.

Sue joined Becky Smith State Farm Insurance in 1999 as an Office Representative and in 2010 she became the Office Manager. She is a long time Adams County resident and a graduate of Biglerville High School. Go Canners! She's married, has 2 children, and 2 grandchildren. When not at home, you can find Sue spending time with her grandkids, watching field hockey, hiking, kayaking, or cooking.

Caitlin is from the Gettysburg neighboring town of Biglerville. She has a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education and a masters degree in Leadership and Management. Caitlin was a colligate field hockey player and later a coach at several universities. Caitlin loves sports and loves to travel.

Receptionist

Jodi has been working for our team for two years. She is originally from Northern Virginia and moved to Adams County in 2005. Her four kids, husband, cat, new puppy, and snake all keep her busy at home. She loves cheering for Elizabethtown College Field Hockey, the Women's water polo team at the United States Coast Guard Academy, and the Cross Country runners at Biglerville High School. Her favorite things are sitting on the beach, spending time with family and friends, and taking power walks around town.
